Arthur Hayes Sells All $HYPE and $NEAR Holdings

Arthur Hayes, a leading figure in the cryptocurrency sector, announced that he has sold all of his Hyperliquid ($HYPE) and Near Protocol ($NEAR) holdings. Hayes, the founder of BitMEX, attracted attention in the markets with his decision — particularly notable given his recent optimistic statements about both assets. According to the experienced investor, there are a number of developments that could increase risks in global markets. These include rising energy prices due to the possibility of renewed conflict in Iran, large-scale AI company IPOs expected to continue until the beginning of the third quarter, and the expectation that US President Donald Trump may adopt a tougher anti-AI policy to strengthen his Republican base during the election campaign.

Hayes also stated that he believes the markets could reach their peak levels between now and September, and therefore, now is a good time to take profits.
