X's Bier Wants to 'Fix' Crypto's Rough Year With a Mystery Product—Community Guesses DOGE & BTC Integration

Nikita Bier, the head of product at X (formerly Twitter, or whatever we're calling it this week) and self-proclaimed Solana whisperer, has been dropping cryptic hints about a new product or service designed to rescue crypto from its latest tantrum. Because nothing says "let's solve market chaos" like a former Tinder engineer turned blockchain messiah.

In an April 14 post that sent the entire timeline into a collective frenzy, Bier wrote: "Crypto has had a rough year. Maybe we should launch something to fix it." The tweet—which cost approximately zero dollars to publish but somehow sent the entire market into a collective spasm of speculation—suggested that maybe, just maybe, salvation was coming from the unlikeliest of places: the app where you go to argue with strangers and get ratioed by bots.

The comments section quickly descended into beautiful chaos. Bier, apparently having spent quality time observing the platform's delightful ecosystem of automated accounts, quipped: "I think when we removed the crypto bots, there were only 2000 people rugging each other back and forth, forever." Honestly, that's probably the most honest assessment of crypto Twitter we've heard all year. 2,000 degens, infinite rugs, and absolutely zero productivity.

The crypto community, never missing an opportunity to speculate wildly, immediately began armchair-product-managing.
